I went there by looking at all these good reviews. But they ruined my order. I asked for choclate she made plain yellow(for whatever reason) and didn't bother to call me. I could have gone to HEB and gotten a better cake. I wasted my 50$ and my dad's B'day. Please don't pay until you get your order
Overall the cake is actually very good. However they are terrible at scheduling. I had an 11am pick up yesterday and did not receive my completed cakes until 11:52. The cakes were for my twins 4th birthday at a party place minutes away down the road from the bakery and started at noon. I assumed 11am would be plenty of time. Apparently not. No apologies, no excuse. Also, the made another group wait an hour for a dozen cupcakes for a party. Then lost another lady's order completely. So if you aren't concerned about actually getting your cake on time and want good cake use them. If you actually need the cake at a specific time, look elsewhere. Terrible experience.
You need to order cakes 2 to 3 days in advance, so I couldn't taste it.
The cake we ordered for a baby shower was beautiful and delicious! Will definitely buy again.
Asked this bakery to bake my son a volcano birthday cake. They were told we needed a wide opening with some kind of plastic piece or protection in the center of the volcano so we could put the dry ice in and have smoke. We even provided a picture. That was the WHOLE point of the volcano cake. Instead of a hole, there was a doweling rod in the center with a tiny opening and no protection around the center of the cake. We couldn't put dry ice in there if we wanted to. Not to mention the doweling rod was sticking out of the cake in plain view. The rocks literally looked like poop. The cake was over priced for what we got. All they did was grass, plastic trees, a pond and a brown mountain. It was all frosting with only fondant "rocks". My son was VERY disappointed that he wasn't able to have smoke in his volcano cake and that the rocks looked like poop. The ONLY consolation was that the cake tasted good. They don't listen to instructions and their cake decorating skills are sub-par at best. When I called to check up on the order, they answered the phone by saying "hello" and very rudely. No greeting or addressing the store, just a "hello". Very unprofessional and disrespectful. We will NEVER use this place again.
