Ordered a Cuban sandwich, paid $8 and it was well worth it. This sandwich is super filling and delicious. I didn't much care for the fries however, you can see in the pictures they are tiny things and they were just thrown on top of the sandwich. Not a big deal though.
took my Cuban wife to eat here. Had a "Cuban" pizza and spaghetti was good! I was surprised how much I liked the spaghetti... I am used to a meat sauce that you typically get with spaghetti but it was outstanding. Only issue was there was no ice in the ice machine but other than that it was outstanding!! I am a big fan of Cuban food and I am sure that we will be back! :)
Exactly what I craved! Tostones are a must: plantains cut, fried and mashed together with a sprinkle of salt. Crunchy on the outside and mushy a bit in the middle, a savory snack that is killer here and traditionally Cuban ! Then the Cuban sandwich. I wasn't terribly impressed with it, maybe since the ones I had before were more gourmet but this was a real working class and maybe that's more authentic anyway. But no pickles?!!! Deal breaker. I've made several trips here and they haven't had pickles, I guess it's intentional. And for 8$? Nope. It left me satisfied but not craving another, but I will try again, maybe just an off day. However the tostones are more than worth the trip for me. Loved the workers too, friendly and treated me like family! Will be back to try other stuff; oh and better speak Spanish FYI!
The meat was super tender, everything was layered properly.
The Cuban sandwich at this restaurant is amazing. The service here is also great.
This place is amazing. Coming in here brought me back memories of my childhood. The food is good. The atmosphere is down to earth with good Latino music. I highly recommend it.
