Fighting the Pre-thanksgiving rush was hectic today with a 7 month old. Other customers were rude and pushy. But the staff was smiling and so helpful. I parked in the parking space reserved for parents with children (THANKS FOR THAT!!) and was unloading my groceries when I realized it was quite a ways away from the cart return. I hate to leave my basket out, but I didn’t want to leave the baby in the car by himself. A very kind associate in a yellow shirt smilingly asked if I’d like him to return my cart and I was so relieved. Thank you H-E-B!!
Love this HEB. Very clean, large variety of foods. Great prices. Baked goods are scrumptious. Best cupcakes and cookies. Meats are fresh and good prices. Fruits taste like they were just picked..I love the cherry plums and white flesh nectarines. Prices are cheaper than other stores in area. Awesome customer service.
Great price and good service... I also lost my wallet at the parking and Martinez foud it... I'm so thankful!! I Definitely go back to shop at HEB again.
I've never been to a HEB before this one. Everything was very clean and orderly, the staff was really helpful and friendly, the selection is almost too good making the store a little crowded, but they have everything you could want. They use a paper coupon system throughout the store which I found to be a little messy and wasteful. The checkout is old school with a cashier and bagger. I like to do things myself so it wasn't my favorite. I ended up with like 20 plastic bags for 6 items. I'd prefer a Kroger over a HEB, but its still a really nice store.
I shop there often. So, I know the layout of the store pretty good. They don't have much specialty items though. Mostly a good place to shop for regular groceries. I like shopping real early to avoid crowds and the seafood department isn't staffed until later. So, I either go back later for seafood or am stuck buying frozen.
