I had two appointments with a doctor. He did not show up to any. I haven't even seen this doctor once.
I feel confident that I have found a terrific practice, capable and competent of handling my family's medical needs, and I highly recommend them!
I cancelled all my appointments and I am going to another doctor. (and the staff didn't mind it AT ALL)
Please, please do your research before even considering this place.
After the ladies in front had me fill up a thousands of paper works, they put me in a room to see a nurse for an introduction. Then a Nurse Practitioner (NP) came instead of the doctor to finish up the visit.
Making an appointment is easy, and I actually do not mind doing so because the office staff is so kind and friendly. The wait time is minimal, if that, and if there is a delay, -the staff is prompt to notify the patient. Nurse Sheila is extremely knowledgeable and has wonderful bedside manner, as does Dr. Moncayo himself, who takes the time necessary to provide excellent care and answer questions. The check-out procedure is pleasant and painless, with proficient staff who handle all the complicated insurance billing.
By far the worse clinic I have ever had to deal with.
For the second appointment, the staff called me in advance and said the doctor cannot make it again and rebooked me for a Nurse Practitioner.
Love this practice! Been going for almost two years. Dr is so nice. He makes sure all my questions have been answered. When I'm sick they typically have gotten me in within 24 hours. I'm pretty picky, so I'm amazed how happy I've been with them.
I recently moved to Texas, and I feel very blessed to have found such an amazing practice. Dr. Moncayo and his staff are intelligent, compassionate and professional...a rare trifecta to find in healthcare these days.
Lazy and careless Personnel who keep being replaced, the nurse is acting as doctor, and the doctors are unprofessional. There is no long term Doctor there. The last doctor they had wasn’t even graduated in the states. I am going to report this clinic to the BBB and not sure if they even listed there.
Dr. Moncayo really listens and doesn't view me as a case from a textbook. I feel like his care is personal. 100% professional yet very personable. LOVE Ms. Angela also!
Be aware and don’t put your health in this clinic.
I can think of only two possibilities: a) the doctor is not committed to his patients, b) the Medical Center is using his name to charge the insurance company for a "doctor visit", and maximize their patient pool by having few actual doctors, but booking many people who will be seen by nurses.
