I pray I don't have to own another pair of these shoes in the future. Is it really that time consuming to resole a pair of shoes???
Since this is my second time coming to this store the one thing I've noticed is that, 1) there never is anyone leaving or coming in when I do, 2) the staff is ALWAYS IN THE BACK SITTING DOWN. There isn't a bell or anything up front, but might be one in the back to let them know to get back to work. It's a pity that this is the ONLY relatively close repair center that I can take redwing boots to that'll be resoled.
It took me over a month to get the proper size work boot due to sizing errors. My advice would be to do a little research on boot fit before going here. The staff is friendly but not entirely helpful with ensuring you have the proper size boot when you walk out the door. Still, when I came back twice to size down they had no trouble processing an exchange. On top of that, you can go back every month to get your boots oiled for free.
Very pricey for shoes that are not that comfortable. Technology is great over there. That is it!
Was told shoes would be done on Friday when I dropped them off on Wednesday. Arrive Saturday, and they still aren't done, being told Monday or Tuesday now.
Had my 10 year-old Red Wing boots re-soled and reconditioned. Amazing job, better than new.
Customer service is very good, the lady is extremely nice and knowledgeable.
