Dr. Ping and his entire Staff at The Wellpet Center are the most knowledgeable and helpful team of any Veternarian Clinic that you will find in the Fulshear /Katy & Houston area! I have had rescue animals and pets for the past 45 years and the vast majority of Specialist and Clinics that I’ve experienced over those years, do not come close to the expertise and willingness that this team has shown to me and my precious fur babies! They go above and beyond to provide the Best possible treatment and care for all the variety of needs that I have! From food to allergies to very unique diseases and illnesses / which I’ve had a variety of the most problematic cases!
The staff, management and Dr's at Well Pet Center are the best! They have always been amazingly accommodating and welcoming. Dr Ping's expertise and communication have made our trips to the vet much more enjoyable. He is willing to explain and cares for our dogs like they were his own. Kandis always takes the time to welcome us, answer our questions, and makes sure that we are well taken care of. They have cared for our dogs on multiple occasions and we are here to stay. I highly recommend using them.
We recently had to make a hard decision and say goodbye to both of our fur babies who have been with us for 12+ years. Every time we brought them in Dr. Aswad and the team at the WellPet Center listened to what was going on and not one time did we ever feel rushed. They truly acted like they cared. A couple of days after they passed I was surprised when we received a beautiful boutique of flowers from them with a nice note. It really showed that we were in their thoughts during this difficult time.
Dr. Thurmond and the whole staff here are awesome! I confess to being one of those overly paranoid pet parents that always has a million questions, but they never seem to mind. When I lost one of my dachshunds to cancer last year, Dr. Thurmond was compassionate, but also straightforward with me when it was clear that moving forward with treatment was hurting more than helping Bandit. He expertly derailed my one-track "do everything! just keep him alive!" train of thought and helped me see past my grief so I could make the best decisions for my dog. I will always appreciate that. Everybody in the office is always very helpful & friendly. The place is always very clean, never stinks, and I love the dog pictures/artwork on the walls (the cat stuff is ok too I guess). I'd never take my Sadie anywhere else :)

Nice facility and people, but way overpriced. They charge at least twice as much for the same IVs I give on an ambulance to humans during an emergency. Vet kept calling my male dog a 'she' and didn't know the correct medical meaning of 'acute'. My address is spelled incorrectly and wrong weight on the prescription they gave at discharge..They are nice to give discounts to first responders, but it is still ridiculously expensive. I am going to just drive the distance to my old vet.
